Engineering Design

In the so-called Engineering Design Event, team members are tested on their knowledge of the race car development process. The task is to defend their own developments in front of expert judges from the industry.

Cost Report

100 Points

The participants' skills in the field of industrial engineering will be challenged at the so-called Cost and Manufacturing Event. Knowledge of the costs is tested, purchasing associated with the production and of parts for a racing car.

Business Plan

75 Punkte

Participants must submit a business plan in which a fictitious marketing strategy for the respective team's race car is worked out. This business plan is then presented to and evaluated by a panel of experts.

Dynamics

Acceleration

The Acceleration Event is an acceleration race on a straight track over a distance of 75m.

Skid Pad

The skidpad course has the shape of a horizontal figure eight. Two right turns and two left turns are driven on the course in order to test the maximum lateral acceleration of the vehicles.

Autocross

The autocross event is a point-to-point race on a challenging track with a maximum length of 1.5 km.

Endurance

Here, the reliability of the race car and the endurance of the drivers are tested. Two drivers compete one after the other and complete a total of 22 km on a demanding course. No technical defect may occur in the process. In addition the efficiency of the vehicles is evaluated.
